Structure is what defines the very basic principles of the world we live in.
The way atoms and molecules are interacting with eachother informs the building of cells. In consequence this leads to the structures we can observe in nature.
Thus we can see how micro- and macrocosmos are interlinked.
This project translates the structure of wooden cells viewed under a microscope into human dimensions. Therefore a simple steel vessel defines the framework for wooden lids with a variety of different structures that are inspired by the microscopic cell anatomy of a tree.
