Gabriel Tarmassi´s studio is located in Bamberg, Germany, a beautiful town rich in history and UNESCO world heritage site. In his practice, Gabriel aims to explore the aesthetic qualities of wood through an experimental approach, while also looking for ways to translate traditional craft techniques into a contemporary way of working with wood. To him, wood is much more than just a material to impose a shape on, but rather a medium that Gabriel is seeking to engange with in a dialogue.
